Greetings, Captain!

Hello and thank you for trying out my modification of Ken Mitchell's great Boeing 757 panel.I have made these modifications to comply with my "VRIF" criteria. (Visibility Readablility Information Functionality) This panel has been thoroughly tested and I believe it to be totally funtional as well as VERY FSNAV friendly.

Although I have primarily made these modifications for this panel to be ideal for the Boeing 767, it surely can be used in any two engine jet especially Boeing 737's, 757's and 777's.

I very much wish to thank Ken Mitchell for his kind consent to have me modify and distribute this panel freely to the public (especially for those of us somewhat challenged in the eyesight department).

It may not be representative of an authentic (existing in an actual real life aircraft) panel ... but it has what I want at my fingertips and my old and failing eyes can actually read most of the gauges. I hope you find it very "VRIF" for you too.

********** *** *** IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT RADIO SETTINGS! *** *** **********

For any aircraft that you use this panel for, you must ensure that the [Radios] portion of your aircraft.cfg is edited as follows:

//---------------------------------------------------------------
[Radios]
// Radio Type = availiable, standby frequency, has glide slope
Audio.1 = 1
Com.1 = 1, 0
Com.2 = 1, 0
Nav.1 = 1, 0, 1
Nav.2 = 1, 0, 0
Adf.1 = 1
Transponder.1 = 1
Marker.1 = 1
//-----------------------------------------------------------------

//Notice that the second variable of all radios are "0" as there was not room for standby radio frequencies on this panel.
//You MUST edit your [Radios] section to read as above or you will not be able to adjust your radio frequencies!

Ken Mitchell's original README (installation instructions and credits) file for his 757 panel appear here in the DOCS folder and still applies to this panel. Further instructions by me (instructions on how to modify your panel to illuminate in your preference of four different night time colours) appears in the Panel_Luminosity_Mods folder within the DOCS folder. You will also find an excerpt from the HTML file originally distributed with one of Ken Mitchell's other fine works, the Airbus A320 panel, entitled PFDandMFD.htm in the DOCS folder to help you understand the PFD and MFD gauges.

In addition I would very much like to thank Eric Mariciano for his SUPER sweep-hand TCAS RADAR gauge, Bob Guy for his fine fuel status gauge, and Doug Dawson who I understand had a LOT to do with the PFD and MFD main gauges used here from the Airbus A320 panel.

I would also like to thank my fellow pilots on the forums at UPSVAC and VATSIM for their input and especially fellow UPSVAC pilot and Hub Manager Rich Verde for his ideas and encouragement. Thanks also and cheers to my own Hub Manager at the Cologne Germany Hub of UPSVAC, Jesper Schmidt and Assistant Hub Manager at Cologne, Nicolaus Malmgren for their support.

Please keep the spirit of the volunteer efforts of MANY individuals involved with the creation of these gauges and panel and keep it FREEWARE. No part of this panel should be used to gain finanacially. Do not sell any portion of it.

Happy New Year,

Happy flying!
